Seba Sangha was came into being in the year 1973 and engaged in the field of rural development with special emphasis on women, children, the aboriginals and the vulnerable groups of the rural society in the districts of South 24 Parganas i.e. the southern most in West Bengal and in Jalpaiguri the far north-eastern district of the state.
During its 35 years long development journey many resource sharing agencies including various departments of State and National Government and also various overseas aid agencies such as Children International – USA, KKS-Germany, Simavi-Netherlands, Embassy of Ireland, IGSSS extend financial and other supports which are still continuing towards the betterment of the down trodden weaker community of the operational area of Seba Sangha.
